London 17th July 2006 – IT service management solutions specialist Tertio SMS, teamed up with newly signed customer bet365 Group Limited, the leading online betting and gaming group, to help raise money for charity during the 2006 World Cup. The competition saw leading IT journalists, Tertio partners including BMC Remedy, and customers pit their football knowledge against each other in a bid to predict the group winners, leading goal scorer and tournament winner.
In total over £670 was raised for charities including, Guide Dogs for the Blind and Cancer Research. In a tight contest that saw fierce competition amongst the top players, winners of the competition were leading IT magazine Computer Weekly with their chosen charity Shelter benefiting from the editorial team's sporting insight. Congratulations to the clear winner and thanks to everyone who took part.
